Iras Lab is an advisory practice based in George Town, Penang, Malaysia. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean Iras Lab.

Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer. An engagement begins only when both parties have agreed in writing to a scope of work and the relevant terms. We work with each client directly to agree on scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees before any work commences.

3. Engagement Terms

When you engage Iras Lab for advisory work, the following general terms apply unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Scope: Work will be carried out according to the agreed written scope. Any changes to scope should be discussed and confirmed in writing before work proceeds.
• Fees: Fees are as quoted and agreed for each engagement. Indicative prices on our website reflect typical starting points and may vary based on scope and complexity.
• Payment: Invoices are due within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to pause or conclude work where payment is overdue.
• Confidentiality: We treat all client information as confidential and do not share it with third parties without consent, except where required by law.
• Deliverables: Written deliverables (briefs, reports, usage policies) remain our intellectual property until fees are settled in full, at which point ownership transfers to the client as described in the engagement agreement.

4. Read-Only Advisory Nature

Our work involves reviewing and advising on quality control processes and AI integration. We do not make decisions on behalf of your organisation, and we do not take responsibility for operational or quality outcomes arising from your team's independent choices. Engineers and QC managers retain full authority over their processes at all times.

Any AI tools or methods discussed during an engagement are subject to your own organisation's approval, validation, and governance processes. We do not warrant that any AI reading assist will meet specific regulatory requirements without your own confirmation and testing.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Iras Lab's total liability to you in connection with any engagement or use of this website shall not exceed the fees paid to us for the relevant engagement in the three months preceding the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, design, and structure — is owned by or licensed to Iras Lab. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any part of it without our written consent, except for personal, non-commercial reference.
